THE GOAL OF ISKA शक्त्याधीनं जगत् सर्वम् (THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE IS UNDER THE CONTROL OF THE DIVINE ENERGY)
"The purpose of life is to understand one's true self, but the capability to do this lies only within the individual(Human Being). Every being is sometimes given a glimpse of its true form so that it can recognize its own reality. The aim of life is to know: What is my name? What is my work?and What is my residence? Therefore, to reach the purpose of one's life, it is essential first to understand that ENERGY by which we can achieve our life's goals. Thus, first of all, we must understand WHAT IS ENERGY? HOW TO ATTAIN IT? and HOW TO IMPLEMENT? inour life. Then we will realize that what we call the soul or part of the god and the supreme soul(GOD) is neither separate nor different."
Objectives of ISKA-
The objective of the International Society For Kali Awareness (ISKA) is to spread Kali consciousness throughout the world by promoting the worship of Goddess Shyama Kali among all sections of society. Truly, Goddess Kali is the compassionate power, the savior from the ocean of worldly existence, Tripura Sundari, and the primal cosmic energy. Karunananda Ji’s realization is that Goddess Kali’s power is "Brahman." Worship of any form is essentially the worship of Goddess Kali, and therefore, the veneration of Kali’s power is essential. It is imperative to instill Kali consciousness in those who follow other paths for personal gain. The feeling of "VasudhaivaKutumbakam" (the world is one family) fosters a sense of belonging towards all living beings. For this purpose, the expansion of Kali consciousness is necessary in the industrial, commercial, educational, judicial fields, as well as in the executive and legislative branches. As the number of worshippers of this power increases, the propagation of consciousness will also increase. We all are aware that this worldly life is not infinite; it has a limit. Therefore, we should strive to make life joyful through our thoughts, words, and deeds. True joy is attained when we bring joy to others. To achieve this, we must pledge to:
1.
Unite the world with the messages and worship of the cosmic energy (Goddess Kali).
2.
Serve humanity as the highest service to the divine energy.
3.
Remember our true nature throughout the journey of life.
4.
Enjoy worldly pleasures with detachment.
5.
Maintain love and goodwill towards all beings by renouncing envy and hatred.
6.
Foster the spirit of "VasudhaivaKutumbakam" (the world is one family).
7.
Establish research and study centers for the development of philosophy, Ayurveda, yoga, tantra, mantra, yantra, and astronomy.
8.
Promote the universal principles described in the Gita, Bible, Quran, Guru Granth, and other religious scriptures to develop a sense of unity.
9.
Establish schools, universities, and vocational training centers for the social, economic, and educational advancement of women (embodiments of Shakti).
Declaration of Goddess Kali's Power: "My dear children, give me your pure and virtuous minds, and I will grant you the entire world."
LOGO
The outer circle in the ‘Logo’ of ISKA denotes the vacum in the space. The five triangles made by the star in the circle are symbols of five elements (Fire, Air, water, Soil and Sky). In the middle the two legs of swan are symbols of Breathe and consciousness (Reasoning). Two wings of the swan indicate mind and sense organs. The beak of the the swan denotes pure reasoning by which he separate milk from water i.e. Knowledge from ignorance. The white colour of the swan is the symbols of Truth. The water in which he lives is the symbol of the world. In brief- The man in the form of swan is born in the world in the form of water with breathe, consciousness, mind and sense organs. He separates Knowledge from ignorance and achieves Truth. In the end he is assimilated in the Absolute reality.
